About the role

Shape the editorial voice and content architecture of @joinindians across multiple formats, platforms, and 22 languages. You bridge data and storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop monthly content calendars aligned with civic events and news cycles
• Analyse performance data and translate insights into editorial pivots
• Work with regional contributors to localise content across 5+ states
• Collaborate with motion, video, and growth teams on campaign concepts
• Maintain a content standards guide and review submissions for quality

Requirements

• 3+ years in content strategy, editorial, or journalism
• Strong grasp of SEO, social algorithms, and audience segmentation
• Experience managing contributors or a small editorial team
• Writing samples in English; multilingual fluency is a significant plus
• Passion for Indian politics, culture, or civic media
