About the role
Get hands-on with civic journalism at one of India's most ambitious media startups. You will research, write, and help produce content that reaches millions of Indians.
Key responsibilities
- Research and fact-check stories across politics, economy, and culture
- Draft articles, social copy, and newsletter segments
- Assist with interviews, transcription, and sourcing
- Support the content team with scheduling and asset management
- Learn the full editorial workflow from pitch to publish
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in journalism, communications, or related field
- Strong written English; working knowledge of Hindi or a regional language is a plus
- Curious, detail-oriented, and not afraid to ask hard questions
- Available for a minimum 3-month commitment
