Editorial Intern

About the role

Get hands-on with civic journalism at one of India's most ambitious media startups. You will research, write, and help produce content that reaches millions of Indians.

Key responsibilities

• Research and fact-check stories across politics, economy, and culture
• Draft articles, social copy, and newsletter segments
• Assist with interviews, transcription, and sourcing
• Support the content team with scheduling and asset management
• Learn the full editorial workflow from pitch to publish

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in journalism, communications, or related field
• Strong written English; working knowledge of Hindi or a regional language is a plus
• Curious, detail-oriented, and not afraid to ask hard questions
• Available for a minimum 3-month commitment
